About The Band
Collusion are a blues and rock band.
Featuring Dave on guitar and vocals, Simon on sax, flute and backing vocals, Alan on Drums and Jon on bass.
They perform for fun and to support local events and venues in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
The music includes original blues and rock songs along with covers of a range of well-known, contemporary rock and pop songs from the ‘60s onwards often played with their own arrangement.
We usually attract a lively crowd!

Dave Howells
Lead guitar & vocals
Dave started out in his teens in a band called"The Dekois" that included Andy Powell, a future founding member of Wishbone Ash.
Dave is the inspiration and writer of the band's original songs and says"I enjoy the process of writing new songs and playing live gigs with The Collusion".
Simon Beeching
Sax, flute and backing vocals
A classical flautist and chorister in his youth, Simon switched to sax with the Watermelon Blues band at university. After a career in business he's enjoying re-emerging with The Collusion on sax, flute and backing vocals.
Alan Dennis
Drums
A band's backbone is its Drummer. There's a tradition of drummers in Alan's family and playing with The Collusion has rekindled his talent. Alan is the provider of a constant flow of inspiration to the band week in and week out.
Jon Eales
Bass
Jonny played various musical instruments especially the piano from school days before taking up the bass. He's played with a number of bands and particularly enjoys playing the mix of original songs and covers in varied styles included in The Collusion's repertoire.
Jonny is also the band's roadie.
